1st Class Promotions Joins Chamber

1st Class Promotions owner, Corey Barnes loves sports!  He is an independent promoter that has been grounded in sports entertainment since childhood.  He offers premium sports entertainment at a price point for all social groups.  They provide quality entertainment that is family oriented while maximizing the value of the consumer dollar.

Barnes partners with local business to help carry out some grand scale events.  He contracts out all of the support services since the events are seasonal.  He has participated in several charitable drives to raise awareness of teen driving safety.  Some events help with food drives and church restorations. 

1st Class Promotions upcoming event, King of the Street, will team up with Pink Seal to raise awareness for breast cancer prevention.  “That unit plans to fund 52 free mammograms for women in the local area in 2012″, Barnes stated.

King of the Street is a full day event at the Pageland Dragway.  It will be held on Saturday, September 24th (rain date-October 8th).  Advance ticket can be purchased online at www.1stclasspromo.com for $10.  Tickets at the gate will be $20 for adults; ages 6 – 12 tickets are $5.  The events include:  Cornhole Tournament, Test & Tune, Stunt Bike Competition, Grudge Runs, D.J. competition, Face Painting, 4 Sec Doorslammers, Street E.T., Pro E.T., Atv’s and Jr. Dragsters.  The event features many kiddie events, food vendors, live music and a fireworks display.
