We enjoyed another great evening with fellow Chamber Members on Monday, September 26th.  This event was co-hosted by Northeastern Technical College and held at the Pageland Campus.  The group was welcomed by Chamber President Tony Nolan and other Chamber Board Members that were present.

NETC President Ron Bartley began the evening with an update of the schools activities.  They are doing an outstanding job and the numbers are growing on all campuses.  The schools now offer many options – on line and class room instruction.  Some new classes have been offered on a one day a week basis and have been well received and attended.  Sherri Chapman, Atticus Simpson, Dr. Forest Mahan, Jenell Caldwell and many other school staff personnel were on hand for the event and shared some information and insight about the school with us.

The attending group then made their way to a facebook presentation by Charity Rollins (DramaMama Studio) and Public Relations Coordinator for NETC – Wylie Bell.  They explained business promotions, event posting, groups and other details of the popular website.  There was a question and answer time which helped explain some situations that could help promote businesses – even if the business already had a facebook page.
