J & T Service is locally owned by Jeff and Tracy Jenkins.  They offer a full service gas station, including tire rotation, oil change, brake work, car washing and more.  Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 7:00 – 5:00 and Saturday 8:00 – 2:00.

Jeff and Tracy both grew up in the Pageland/Jefferson area.  After many years of work with the Department of Transportation, Jeff wanted to open his own business.  “He always loved working on things – tractors, boats, cars – just anything.  Then he started talking about repairing things for a living and in 2008, the gas station became available.  We were worried about the economy, but I told him if that’s what he wants to do, then go for it!”  Tracy continues, “I’m the silent partner, doing the paperwork and helping out when I can.”  Tracy went back to school after losing a job to overseas trading.  She obtained degrees in Computer Programing and Business.  She now works during the week at Conbraco in Matthews, NC.

When you pull up, you may be greated by a third partner in this business, Samy.  He is a Yorkie-Poo and, according to Jeff, he is a great gas station dog.  This little fella has lots of energy, but minds his owners well.

Jeff and Tracy make their home in Pageland.  He has two grown children, Brandon and Jessica.  They invite you to come by and meet the service station crew.  While you’re there, how about an oil  change?
