In 1994, a family friend asked Mitchell Jordan for help in maintaining a local commercial property.  That conversation was the start of a business adventure that is going strong today.  Mitchell states “I am very grateful to Sonny “Chicken” Robertson for what he did for me – we still maintain that property today!”

Overtime Lawn Care came from a humble beginning.  It was just a part-time job, after hours – hence the name “Overtime”.  Jordan had a few jobs, a few tools and one mower.  It has grown to be a full service commercial and residential property management company.  They added power sweeping in 1997.

Overtime Lawn Care and Jordan’s Sweeping services include:  Fire Ant Control, weed control, power washing, full service lawn maintenance, landscape design, power sweeping and parking area line re-striping.  They serve commercial and residential landscaping needs in Chesterfield County and the surrounding areas.

“Having the right equipment to do the job is essential.  We still service residential lawns with smaller equipment, but we can roll out the bigger machines to handle larger jobs.  But even with all the right equipment, none of our success is because of what we’ve done, but what God has done for us.”  Mitchell added,  “In everything give thanks…” 1 Thess. 5:18.

Tony Nolan, Chamber President welcomed them and added how much we appreciate their membership.  “You have already taken the steps toward a great relationship with us by participating in our first event for the year – the Banquet.  We hope this will just be the start of our working toward a common goal, to make Pageland the best it can be with our established business members and many to come.”  

Mitchell and his wife Cindy have two beautiful children, ages 7 and 5.  The are members at Providence Baptist Church and leaders at Providence’s Kids Club on Sunday evenings.
