The Pagland Chamber of Commerce held two ribbon cuttings for businesses over the past few days.  Goody’s Department Store and National Finance Company are proud members of the Chamber.  We were glad to assist them in their new business endeavors.

Goody’s -

The Pageland Chamber of Commerce along with Town of Pageland officials welcomed Goody’s Department Store to Pageland on Wednesday, May 18th at 8:45 am.  A crowd was on hand along with company executives and store employees for the ribbon cutting ceremony. 

Goody’s Department Store is located in the Bilo Shopping Center in Pageland and replaces the Peebles store.  Everyone on hand for the opening received a Goody’s tote bag and lots of opening day bargains.

NFC – National Finance Company –

The Pageland Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for National Finance Company at 11 am on Friday, May 27th.  Members of the Chamber Board of Directors, Mayor Hough and company officials and employees joined together to celebrate a new location.  Previously located on Maple Street, National Finance has a new spacious home at 108 W. McGregor Street.

Kizzy Jackson, District Supervisor for National Finance said “We have enjoyed much success here in Pageland, thanks to a hard working staff.  They simply outgrew the location and decided to relocate for bigger space and better visibility.
