Around town in the spring, you may have noticed some extra work being done. South Pointe Fellowship Youth Department, along with lots of help from their leaders, accomplished a great number of projects. This was appropriately named “Live N Love Projects”. On a Saturday morning, they were scattered about town, working hard.
South Pointe contacted the Town of Pageland and asked what they could do to help out and get involved in some community work. The Town had no short supply of work that could be done and this youth group rose to the challenge
Projects included: Tennis Courts – weed, clean and putty cracks in court; Moore’s Park – paint the Gazebo; Pigg Park – prime and paint doors and frames; Conbraco Park – prime and paint bathroom doors, frames, partitions and walls; Community Center – weed flower beds; Town – general trash pick up.
This group was very busy during the day. They plan more of these events in the coming months. If you see someone you know in these pictures, tell them thank you for making our town nicer!
