WALK FOR LIFE

Walk for Life is a Breast Cancer awareness 5k walk.  This year the event was sponsored by Walmart Logistics, Fit for a King, Mickey’s Restaurant and the Pageland Garden Club. 

Well over 200 participants took part in the walk that began at the Gazebo in Pageland.  After winding down through several neighborhoods the route ended at the Community Center.  Participants then received a filled goodie bag, a shirt and full buffet breakfeast.  Also inside the facility, there were lots of  door prizes given away and many opportunities to donate to this worthy cause.
